    I think this is lovely, not dodgy at all. Rain does wash down the leaves - the imagery of a tree crying is beautiful.

    Would have liked more on this.

    I think that will be the first image that comes to me when the leaves start to fall now, it is a perfect fit. Crying leaves in mourning for the summertime, in grief at the stark days of winter ahead. Beautiful.
